Carrot Cake With Orange Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    4 eggs
    3 c. grated, raw carrots
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Mix oil and sugar well.
    Separately sift together:
    flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Blend half of the dry ingredients into the sugar and oil, then blend in the other half alternately with 4 eggs, beating one at a time.
    Mix thoroughly into batter, the carrots and pecans.
    Pour into lightly oiled 10-inch tube pan and bake about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Split cake horizontally in 3 layers. Spread Orange Glaze between layers and on top.
