E-Z Supper Slice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 loaf French or Italian bread (uncut)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to your taste
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 egg
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    cheese slices (strips)
    butter (oleo)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except bread and strips of cheese.
    Cut loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
    Butter halves lightly.
    Spread mixture over top surface of bread evenly.
    Wrap heavy-duty foil around crust side of each half loaf, leaving top uncovered.
    Place on a cookie sheet; bake in a moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for 25 minutes. Garnish with strips of cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.
    Place cheese to form X's on top of loaf.
    Remove from oven and cut into diagonal slices.
