Oatmeal Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. fruit cake mix
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. margarine, softened
1/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Combine margarine, sugar and pudding mix in large mixing bowl. Beat until creamy and smooth.
Beat in flour and soda, then stir in oats, fruit mix and raisins.
Nuts if desired.
Batter will be stiff.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
