Cream Of Crab Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole milk
    2 (6 oz.) cans crab meat
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 large potato, cut into cubes (optional)
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
    asparagus, cut (optional)
    mushrooms (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add onions; cook for 2 minutes.
    Add flour; mix well.
    Add milk; bring to a boil.
    Add crab; stir constantly, bringing to a boil.
    Simmer on very low heat.
    Serves 4 small servings.
