Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 medium green tomatoes
1 Tbsp. salt
water to cover
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. self-rising cornmeal
Preparation

Core and slice tomatoes about 1/4-inch thick.
Put in a large bowl and sprinkle with salt.
Cover with water, stirring to mix.
