Flaky Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Southern Biscuit plain all-purpose flour
1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
1/3 to 1/2 c. ice water
2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Chill all ingredients thoroughly before use, including flour. Cut the shortening into the flour until the shortening is marble sized.
Dissolve the salt in the ice water and then add to the flour-shortening mixture.
Mix just long enough to wet the flour; do not overmix.
