Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. cream
1 stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. caramel flavoring
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, cream, caramel flavoring and butter in saucepan over medium heat.
When all ingredients are dissolved and start to boil, mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup water.
Add to mixture when thickened.
Take off heat.
Spread on cake.
