Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. shredded cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    salt and pepper
    dash of sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    To make sauce, cook onions in butter until tender.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk and cook until thickened and bubbly.
    Layer 1/2 potatoes and pour half sauce over and repeat layers and remainder of sauce.
    Place in a greased casserole dish.
    Bake, covered, 45 minutes, stirring once. Uncover and bake 30 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
