Special K Bars(Easy And All Ages Love 'Em!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 c. Special K cereal
1 c. Karo syrup (light)
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. Nestle chocolate morsels
1 c. Nestle butterscotch morsels

Preparation

In a large pan, bring sugar and Karo syrup to a boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Add Special K, coating thoroughly.
Press mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan that has been sprayed with Pam.
In either a double boiler or microwave, melt the chocolate and butterscotch morsels together.
Spread melted morsels over bar mixture.
Cut and serve.
