Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar (white)
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick margarine or 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Soak oats in boiling water for 20 minutes.
Combine sugar, butter and eggs.
Beat well.
Stir in oats and fold in sifted dry ingredients.
Bake in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
