Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumbers, sliced thin
    2 Tbsp. kosher salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a large bowl (not metal), mix cucumbers, onion and salt. Cover and let stand in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
    Drain, but do not rinse.
    Mix sugar and vinegar and pour over pickles.
    Place in containers and evenly divide the liquid among the containers. Freeze.
