Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg yolks, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. milk
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
9-inch pie shell, baked
whipped cream and chopped nuts (for garnish)
Preparation

Combine egg yolks and milk in saucepan.
Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt together; stir into egg mixture.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Pour filling into a bowl. Cover with wax paper and chill.
Turn mixture into mixing bowl; whip with electric mixer.
Add peanut butter and vanilla, creaming together thoroughly.
Pour into pie shell; chill until set.
Top with whipped cream and chopped peanuts.
