Lemon Crackers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. lard
1 pt. milk
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. baking ammonia
1 bottle lemon oil
little salt
8 c. flour
Preparation

Combine ammonia and milk.
Let stand until ammonia has dissolved.
Cream sugar and lard.
Add salt and eggs and mix well. Add ammonia, milk and lemon oil.
Add flour and mix well.
Knead the dough.
Roll to 1/8-inch thickness; cut with square cutter. Prick with fork.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until light brown.
