Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1 Duncan Hines pineapple supreme cake mix
1/2 c. butter/margarine
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple slices, drained

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.
Arrange pineapple slices on sugar; put cherry halves in center of each slice.
Prepare cake as directed on package.
Turn batter over fruit and spread evenly. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 43 to 48 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes to set topping.
Loosen cake from pan; turn upside down on platter.
