Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box butter cake mix
1 stick melted margarine
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
3 eggs
1 box powdered sugar

Preparation

Mix.
Beat well and pour over mixture in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
(May add slivered almonds or chopped pecans before baking.)
