Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    cooking oil
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar; set aside.
    Beat eggs; blend in milk and vanilla.
    Add to dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
    In a large frying pan or iron skillet, pour enough oil to cover the bottom by 1/2 inch. Heat to just short of smoking, 365\u00b0.
    Carefully pour batter into a small funnel while holding finger to bottom.
    Drop batter in oil by releasing finger.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
