German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes, cooked and cut into 1/4-inch slices
    12 slices bacon
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove from grease and drain.
    Saute onion in bacon grease.
    Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add bacon back into grease and vinegar mixture.
    Bring to a boil and then pour over potatoes.
    Keep over low heat to serve warm.
