Eggnog Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 egg
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 to 1 tsp. rum extract
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    In bowl, cream butter and sugar.
    Add nutmeg, egg and extracts.
    Mix well.
    Stir in flour.
    Chill dough for easier handling.
    On a lightly floured surface, shape dough into 1/2-inch diameter rolls.
    Cut into 3-inch long pieces.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool on rack and frost.
