Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced apples (about 6 medium)
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Wash apples; core and pare thinly.
    Place in shallow baking dish.
    Mix sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and lemon rind.\tSprinkle over apples and add lemon juice.
    Mix flour, sugar and salt with a pastry blender or fork.
    Mix butter or margarine with dry ingredients and sprinkle over top apple mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is slightly browned.
