Neese'S Sausage Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Neese sausage (mild)
2 c. brown sugar, packed
3 eggs
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. orange juice
1 c. applesauce
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes, then drained
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream sausage with sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add alternately with orange juice.
Add applesauce next.
Fold in raisins and nuts.
Pour in greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Let stand for 15 minutes in pan before removing from pan.
Keep refrigerated.
