Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 qt. chopped tomatoes
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    8 oz. lasagna
    16 oz. Ricotta or cottage cheese
    12 oz. shredded or thinly sliced Mozzarella cheese
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In large heavy pan, lightly brown beef and onion.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, chili and oregano leaves; simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.
