Microwave Raisin Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter or margarine
5 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar, divided in half
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. cubed bread (16 slices)
1/2 c. raisins
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine milk and butter in a 1-quart glass measure.
Cook at Medium for 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes or until milk is scalded. Quickly stir in eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla.
Meanwhile, arrange bread cubes in a 2-quart microwave-safe dish.
Sprinkle with remaining sugar, raisins and cinnamon.
Pour milk mixture over bread.
Cook, covered with plastic wrap, at Medium for 17 to 19 minutes or until pudding is set.
Serves 6.
