Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening with pastry blender.
    Add yeast mixture and buttermilk to dry ingredients.
    Turn dough out onto floured surface and lightly knead.
    Refrigerate dough until needed.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into rounds with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
