Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. butter, melted and divided
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. sugar frosted or plain corn flakes, crushed
Preparation
    Combine hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheese, 1/2 cup melted butter, salt and onion.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Combine frosted flakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Sprinkle over top of casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
