Layered Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 package strawberry gelatin
    3/4 cup boiling water
    1 -10 ounce pkg. sliced frozen strawberries (partially thawed)
    1 - 8 ounce can crushed pineapple
    1 banana, mashed
    1/2 pint sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add fruit and chill until partially set, then put half of mixture in a mold and place in refrigerator until completely set.
    Cover with sour cream.
    Spoon on second half of partially set gelatin.
    Refrigerate.
    Serve on lettuce; garnish with grapes and tangerine petals.
    (To double, use 2 and 1/2 quart dish; fix above mixture for the bottom, let set, then fix another mixture for the bottom; let set, then fix another mixture for the top, and use 12 ounces sour cream.)
