Bacon-Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    4 1/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine flour and sugar; cut in shortening with pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Set aside.
