French Bread Toast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
2 to 3 apples, peeled and sliced
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large loaf French bread, sliced into 3/4-inch slices

Preparation

Melt butter, sugar and maple syrup in microwave or on stove top.
Pour in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Place sliced apples on top of mixture pan. Cover with bread slices.
