Fried Okra And Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh okra, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
    2 medium-size tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    vegetable oil
    salt
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl.
    Add cornmeal and toss gently.
    Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a large skillet (or use Fry Daddy).
    Heat oil.
    Fry half of mixture until golden brown.
    Remove with slotted spoon and drain.
    Repeat procedure. Sprinkle with salt and serve.
