Barbecue Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 round steak (about 2 lb.), cut in 5 or 6 pieces
3/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped (if desired)
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (if desired)
Preparation

Brown steak in large heavy frying pan about 1 minute on each side.
Combine all other ingredients.
Pour over steak pieces and simmer until steak is tender, about 2 hours.
Cook on high for a few minutes if sauce is not thick enough.
Serves 3 to 4.
