Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
6 to 8 pineapple slices
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. pineapple juice
Preparation

Place brown sugar and pecans in baking pan, arrange pineapple slices over brown sugar and nuts.
Dot with butter.
Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat egg yolks and white sugar until fluffy.
Stir in flour mixture, vanilla and pineapple juice alternately.
Fold in beaten egg whites, pour over mixture in baking pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Leave in pan a few minutes; turn upside down.
