Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 whole fryer, cut in pieces
    1 can mushroom soup
    2 1/2 c. chicken stock or water
Preparation
    Put onion mix in bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle rice over soup. Layer chicken pieces on top of rice.
    Dilute soup with stock and pour over chicken.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
