Chewy Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. corn syrup
    1 lb. sweet cream butter
    2 c. whipping cream (not whipped)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    7 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Over medium low heat, cook together sugar and white syrup. Cook until candy thermometer reaches 250\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add butter and whipping cream, slowly.
    Return to heat and cook until it reaches 242\u00b0, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans.
    Drop on foil.
    When cool, wrap in Saran Wrap.
