Cinnamon Cucumber Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cucumbers
    1 c. canning lime
    water (enough to cover cucumbers)
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 oz. red food coloring
    1 Tbsp. alum
    1 pt. white vinegar
    8 c. sugar
    4 sticks cinnamon
    12 oz. red hots
    1 pt. warm water
    1 oz. red food coloring
Preparation
    Peel,
    slice
    and
    remove
    seeds
    from\tcucumbers.
    Mix canning
    lime thoroughly with enough water to cover cucumbers; let stand 24 hours.
    Drain and wash well.
    Soak in cold water for 3 hours; drain well.
