Cheese And Kraut Crescent Pockets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    8 (3 1/2 x 3 1/2-inch) slices Swiss cheese
    16 oz. can sauerkraut, well drained
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Separate dough into 8 rectangles.
    Press or roll each to an 8 x 5-inch rectangle, sealing perforations. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed over them (reserve 1/2 teaspoon for tops).
    Press or roll seeds into dough.
    Place 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1/4 cup kraut and 1 slice American cheese on one end of each rectangle.
    Fold dough over filling and press edges to seal. Brush tops with egg; sprinkle with seeds and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 18 minutes.
