Stew Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs of stew beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans of tomato sauce
    5 to 6 potatoes peeled and cut in half
Preparation
    Put the stew beef in a pot, cover it with water.
    Boil until the meat is cooked.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Add onion and tomato sauce.
    Cook for 1 hour.
    Add potatoes.
    Cook until potatoes are done.
    Serve over rice.
