Custard Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Put in unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top of filling.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then reduce to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 35 minutes more.
    Makes 1 1/2-inch large (9-inch) pie.
