Oatmeal Caramelitas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. melted margarine
1 c. or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Combine caramel ice cream topping and 3 tablespoons of flour and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients (except chocolate pieces and pecans) in a large bowl.
Press half of combined crumb mixture into bottom of 7 x 11-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with chocolate pieces and pecans.
Spread carefully with caramel mixture.
Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until golden brown.
Chill for 1 to 2 hours. Cut into bars.
