Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Granny Smith apples
    1 can crescent rolls
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. melted margarine
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel and quarter both apples.
    (You will have eight quarters.) The crescent rolls have eight sections.
    Roll each one out on a floured board as much as possible.
    Take one quarter of apple and slice onto one section of crescent rolls.
    Bring sides up and pinch together.
    Place dumplings in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix together sugar, melted margarine and orange juice.
    Pour over dumplings. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream.
    Delicious!
    Yield:
    Eight dumplings.
