Obel Kage(Apple Cake - Danish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 c. applesauce
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy frying pan.
    Add crumbs and sugar.
    Stir continually until bread crumbs are browned.
    Place prepared crumbs in greased loaf pan alternately with layers of applesauce.
    Bake in slow oven for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
    Allow to harden in refrigerator.
    Serve cold with whipped cream.
