Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, shredded
    1 small pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 small onion, sliced and divided into rings
    1 large boiled egg
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In bowl, layer half the lettuce, half the peas and onion.
    Add remaining lettuce, peas and the boiled egg (sliced or grated). Blend mayonnaise and sour cream.
    Spread over salad.
    Top with cheese.
    Best when refrigerated, but loses crispness after several hours.
