3-Day Old Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 white cake mix
    2 c. sour cream
    2 pkg. frozen coconut
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, coconut and sour cream and let set overnight in refrigerator.
    Bake cake as directed on box and cool, then slice layers in two.
    Spread mixture between layers except for one cup. Add that one cup to the Cool Whip and use to frost top and sides of cake.
    Put on cake plate in refrigerator and let set for 3 days before serving.
