Green Peas And Potatoes In Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. half and half or diluted evaporated milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. cubed, peeled potatoes (1/2-inch cubes)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, partly defrosted and separated
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1/2 tsp. summer savory
    1/4 tsp. rubbed thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    dash grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine half and half and butter or margarine in saucepan. Place over very low heat and allow butter to melt.
    Add potatoes. Cover and allow to simmer slowly until potatoes are almost tender. Fold in remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer very slowly until peas are tender, about 5 minutes.
    Yields 4 servings.
