Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 bay leaf
    1 qt. or large can tomatoes
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 to 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, chopped or 1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can mushrooms
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef. Add onion and green pepper and cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 4 to 6 hours.
    If using slow cooker, simmer on low for 12 hours.
