Chocolate Cookie Sheet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Sift flour, measure and sift again with sugar and salt.
Put butter, water and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Pour over dry mixture.
Mix eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla and add to flour mixture.
Mix well.
Bake in a greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Start making frosting the last 5 minutes cake is cooking.
