Blonde Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    2 c. (10 oz.) salted peanuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Butter a large cookie sheet; set aside.
    Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in heavy 10-inch skillet.
    Stir to mix.
    Bring to a boil over high heat.
    Reduce heat slightly, but keep mixture boiling as rapidly as possible, without boiling over.
    Boil about 20 minutes or until syrup turns a very light tan.
    Do not overbrown.
    Remove from heat.
