Coconut-Sour Cream Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines Deluxe II white cake mix
    1 C. granulated sugar
    1 16 oz. carton sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    A few grains of salt
    12 oz. frozen coconut, thawed
    1 1/2 C. Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to package directions, making two 8 inch layers. When completely cool, split each layer, making four layers.
