Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. stew meat
    2 onions, sliced
    2 celery stalks (in pieces)
    12 carrots, cubed
    8 potatoes, cubed
    4 tsp. salt
    1/8 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Minute tapioca
    2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Place meat in pan and add vegetables.
    Mix salt, sugar and tapioca with tomato juice.
    Pour over meat and vegetables and cover tightly.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    Serves 12.
