Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. cocoa
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt margarine and shortening in large saucepan.
    Over low heat, stir in cocoa.
    Remove from heat and add sugar, eggs and vanilla, mixing thoroughly.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into chocolate mixture.
    Add nuts and mix well.
    Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Spread on frosting while brownies are warm.
    Cool; cut into 2-inch squares.
