Ingredients

1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2-1/2 c. milk
4 egg yolks
4 oz. sweet cooking chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. flaked or shredded coconut
2/3 c. chopped pecans
Sweetened Whipped Cream
Preparation

Prepare baked pie shell and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt.
In a medium bowl, beat milk and egg yolks until smooth.
Gradually stir into sugar mixture.
Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture thickens and comes to a full boil.
Stir and boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
