Green Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 layer sliced green tomatoes
    1 layer peppers
    1 layer onions
    salt
    3 c. sugar
    4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Put layers of vegetables in a pan.
    Sprinkle salt over; let stand overnight.
    Drain all water off.
    Mix the sugar and vinegar. Cook them slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
